Your Role
As a Full Stack Developer at backbone.one, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our white-label product Renablr® and shaping the future of the energy industry. Working closely with a team of product and tech experts, you'll be responsible for managing Renablr® and overseeing its development through each stage of the product lifecycle.
Our white-label product, Renablr®, transforms retailers, banks, supermarkets, and any business into green energy providers. It enables them to efficiently manage, produce, sell, and trade renewable energy within a decentralized ecosystem – sustainable, scalable, and profitable.
Your responsibilities will include developing frontend applications for desktop and mobile, as well as creating the necessary backend calls for those applications.
Skills we are looking for
- 3+ years of experience in cross-platform mobile software development
- Preferably, you have experience with React with Typescript, Next and/or Dart + Flutter
- Experience in working with GitHub or other Versioning systems
- Familiarity and real-life experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
- Recommend and execute improvements, including refactoring
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
- Integrate with existing systems and RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for renewable energy and a keen interest in learning about energy tariffs, energy communities, energy storage, and peer-to-peer trading.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines, frequent changes, and tight go-to-market timelines.
- Language skills: Fluent English (company language), German is a plus.
